Mallika featured in World's First 3D Magazine

Mallika Sherawat is spread across 11 pages of the second issue of the world’s first 3D magazine. Published and photographed by celebrity lens-man Nick Saglimbeni, using a Salgimbeni 3D camera system, WMB3D: World’s Most Beautiful is a Los Angeles- based print magazine that can be viewed through 3D glasses and is also available on iTunes and Andriod Applications stores worldwide.

Mallika who is presently in Mumbai shooting for her Bollywood movie, Kismat Love Paisa Dilli (2011), a sequel to Sanjay Khanduri’s Ek Challis Ki Last Local (2007), is really kicked about her first 3D photo shoot.

“We shot in the middle of the desert. It was very rustic, hot and dusty. I was parched and completely dehydrated but I couldn’t even drink water because they didn’t want my stomach jutting out,” reminisces the actor.

Mallika is cast in the role of a mechanic, saddled with a car that has packed up, and hoping to get a lift back to civilization. She remembers feeling dirty and completely deglam while the pictures were being clicked.

“I was dressed in flannels and when thumbing down a ride, in a knotted top, shorts and killer high heels. My hair was mussed up, my nails grease streaked and filthy from tinkering around with dirty tools. The hair and make-up was very Americana. And then I viewed the pictures, and that includes a bonus digital gallery, through 3D glasses and they were delicious. I was right up there, surreal, sexy and stunning, I have never been more photographed more beautifully,” she raves.

Bollywood’s favourite dancing queen will perform on New Year’s Eve once again.

Mallika Sherawat will be the highest paid performer in the upcoming New Year eve bash. The actress tops the charts of the most in-demand performers after her smash-hit item number 'Jalebi Bai'.

She will be, reportedly, performing at the Tulip Hotel in Juhu on December 31 in Juhu this year. This is the same hotel where security problems arose during her performance last year.

Buzz is that she will make around INR 60 lakh for a performance of a mere 20 minute duration. This makes her the highest paid item

She will be performing on her latest songs, namely Jalebi Bai, Raziya and the latest addition to her list is the song, which has broken all records ‘Kolaver Di’. An excited Mallika says, “The newest addition to my song list is Kolaveri Di and I will be performing on it. It is a fabulous song and one of my favourites.”

As per our sources, the actress will be performing on the female version of the song sung by Shruti Hasan and the track will be remixed to a party mood by DJ Shezwood.

Well, it’s time to see which act will be the most sizzling one, ‘Kolaveri Di’ or ‘Jalebi Bai’.

Bollywood's export to Hollywood, Mallika Sherawat, is excited about starting work on her next Hindi film Kismat Love Paisa Dilli, which has her playing a Haryanvi girl for the first time.

The actress, who was born in Rohtak to a Jat family, is back from Los Angeles to shoot for the film, opposite Vivek Oberoi.

Being a part of the movie means a lot to me. For the first time, I am playing a north Indian character, a Haryanvi," the actress said on arrival at Mumbai airport Thursday.

The Murder girl was happy to see that members of the cast and crew of the film had come to receive her.

"My entire cast is here. What better welcome than this. It's such a pleasant surprise. I had never imagined that I will get such a surprise," said Mallika who recently featured in a Hollywood film titled Politics Of Love.

Reportedly, Mallika wants producer Sanjay Khanduri to wrap up the shoot in three months as she has commitments in Hollywood.

Kalasala from Osthe has been in the news for a long time now.

The Tamil version of Munni Badnaam Hui had made all the right noises when Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s names were being tossed around. Finally Mallika Sherawat stepped in and the evergreen L.R. Easwari lent her voice to it.

The male vocals sung by T. Rajendran, the song one hears has been not compromised on and every penny has been spent on look, locations and promotion.

Simbu who was cocooned away in Mysore for the shooting of his film, says, “Mallika is such a fun professional. She has the right attitude towards work and people. It was a pleasure working with her. Not very often do we meet people who we can relate to and yet kept it uncomplicated.”

Mallika even reportedly stated that this song will be ‘more upbeat than Munni’ and is looking forward to its release.

Sources say Simbu loved the interaction with Mallika while shooting for the number and was even happy to share lighter moments with her.

Those in the filmi circles say, “Mallika brought out the best in Simbu. He was in his best behaviour, was extremely professional and helped Mallika with her moves too.”

Even close friends of the actor who requested anonymity shared, “He was visibly excited seeing Mallika on set. She looked ravishing and they both had a good time dancing since both are very good dancers. Simbu even rehearsed a lot to get it all right.”

After much speculation over who will play Munni in the Tamil version of Dabangg, Osthe, it's now over to Mallika Sherawat to push the song to the top of charts. Mallika, the Tamil munni is already on the job.

She's presently shooting with Simbu for the item number which was a major highlight in the Hindi version. And after she was signed up for a whopping amount, she's all set to sizzle in the Tamil number 'Kalasala"

After so much hype surrounding the song, it remains to be seen if Mallika can do what Malaika did for Dabangg up the oomph quotient in the movie. The sexy bombshell's earlier Kollywood ventures include Kamal Haasan's Dasavatharam, in which she played a small role.
